A member asked:

For how long is the recovery from a brain tumor biopsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Recovery from a stereotactic needle biopsy is very short, just a few days for most symptoms in most patients. Open biopsies or resections which require a craniotomy will have a longer recovery period from a larger wound, usually some weeks. Talk this over with your doctor for specific information relevant to your case.
