SOM: Sounds like you have a serous otitis media with a blocked eustachian tube. Very frustrating symptoms. No good treatment. Patience. Here is a good reference (directed to children but applies equally well to adults): http://www.Nlm.Nih.Gov/medlineplus/ency/article/007010.Htm.
