A member asked:

Supposing my periodontal pockets have shrunk?. are my gum bones still dissolving?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Your pockets may have shrunk but you need to know if your gums have resealed you can still have pockets but they may be less deep if so you probably still can't get in there to keep out the food, bacteria and infection so your bone will still keep moving away from the problem.
