A member asked:

Would my vitreous hemorrhage go away if i left it for a while?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually: The eye will mostly clear out hemorrhage in the back of the eye over a somewhat slow time. The source of the bleeding might need treatment, especially if it is related to diabetes. If the hemorrhage persists for months, and seems not to change, then a retinal surgeon should be seen for possible surgical removal.
