I have dry cough working with sewage, any suggestions?

Possibilities...: Your cough may be due to bronchospasm and airway inflammation which could be due to an occupational exposure, depending on how close to the sewage you work, what type of sewage it is, what type of protection you wear, etc. Tests can be done to see if your symptoms are due to an occupational exposure so see your doctor. If you smoke, this can also cause your symptoms so your doc can help you quit.

See a doctor: This could be a problem from an infectious or toxic exposure. You should report the problem to your work safety officer and get evaluated by an occupational physician.
