I have chf with an ef of %10. lately my cough is getting very irritable. i tried robutussin but its not working. what else can i take for dry coughing?

? Worsening CHF: Worsening CHF gives this kind of cough but you don't think that you can change the cough medications, try tessalon perle, which might help. However, i would suggest you to discuss with your doctor.

Chf with cough: If you are not producing sputum having fevers or have any sore throat, nasal congestion an infectious process is less likely. With a low ef you might be retaining fluid in the lung. You can contact your cardiologist or primary physician to see if you can start or increase your Lasix to remove fluid which will relieve your cough.
