Burn rare accident: Ct scans provide radiation dose 100--250 times higher than a chest x-ray. Very rarely is accidental over irradiation of individual to such an extent that skin burns occur. Quality controls are usually in place to prevent these disasters from happening.Ct scans use far more radiation than conventional x-rays and estimated tresponsible for 70% of medical radiation.Increased cancer risk associated.

They typically don't: That would be an extremely rare occurrence requiring equipment breakdown and operator error at multiple levels.
