It's very effective: Yes, sensodyne does work well, especially if you use it everyday and don't drink a lot of acidic drinks to counteract the benefit you are accruing by using the sensodyne. Unfortunately, it does take several weeks for the full benefits to be felt.

Yes: It works. Depending on why your teeth are sensitive. Toothpastes that say for sensitive teeth desensitize teeth. They use different formulas. One may work better for you than another. Avoid whitening toothpastes.
