For how long does it take for sensodyne toothpaste to kick in?

A few weeks: Do not expect immediate relief. It takes time for the medication to be absorbed into the outer layers of the cementum and to desensitize the teeth. Are you sure that there are no cavities? The toothpaste will not desensitize a tooth with carious lesions.
