Neuropathy: Is a possibility. Often, neuropathy can be very light and we don't notice it as we go through the day pounding on our feet. However, when we are off our feet, and nothing else distracting us, the neuropathy sensation is "turned up" centrally. See your physician and have him do a sensory exam on your feet, as well as check for diabetes. 40 yr old with bilateral burning foot pain, possible diabetes.
