Foot pain: There are several possibilities. You may have a nerve condition called "neuropathy." Another possibility involves the tissue on the bottom of the feet that gets inflamed. In any case, please see your doctor or a foot doctor.

Circulation: Sometimes at night when your feet are elevated there is not enough blood going to these feet and burning pain may be a result. During the day when you are standing the blood goes to the feet from gravity. If there is not enough muscle strength or venous valve competency swelling will occur as the day progresses and worsens at night. You may need to have your circulation to the feet analyzed.
