Many possibilities: 1. Stiff hindfoot (decreased inversion/eversion) 2.Painful motion due to arthritis 3. Deformity of foot requiring orthotics/surgery 4. Shortening of leg upto 1" 5. Anterior ankle pain due to malunion of the fracture.
