Picky eaters: Portion control is a better way to think of reducing intake. When you think of it only as making nutritious choices, then anything goes as long as it is not empty calories. A hard boiled egg, a hand full of nuts (like almonds), and a whole grain slice of bread with a variety of vegetables will keep you full longer than a diet shake and salad.
