is it safe to take valerian root every night to help me sleep? it helps a lot but i don't want to take it daily if not safe.

Apparently safe: Like many natural products, research is limited, but a fair amount of research has been done and as far as is known valerian is quite safe and there are no (as of yet) known problems with long-term use.
