Inflammation...: You likely have some airway inflammation in addition to bronchospasm resulting in your symptoms. This can happen with an episode of bronchitis. Your doctor may want to obtain a sputum culture to be certain you are on an effective antibiotic. Then, add a steroid inhaler in addition to the albuterol to decrease airway inflammation. It will take a few days for the result of the culture. See your doc.
