A few things: New onset of eye burning is not as likely to be allergy, but it could be from pet dander allergy if you have been in closer contact to the pet than usual, brushing, sleeping with the pet. This time of year eyes could be dry, you could have a viral or bacterial conjunctivitis. If eye symptoms mild probably have a cold. If more severe or lasts more than 10 to 14 days see your primary care doctor.
