Midface Migraine: Episodic midface migraine. Although migraine is usually considered a headache, it can also present as pain in the face, jaw and/or the maxillary sinus which often confuses the diagnosis. The patient may experience throbbing pain, muscle cramping, and/or maxillary sinus pain. Patients may even present with secondary autonomic symptoms such as nasal stuffiness. Can last from 4 to 72 hours.
