Headaches: These could be migraines. If these headaches are unusual for you I would suggest you visit your doctor. Until then, do a headache diary and mark down where the headache is located, how long it lasts, any other symptoms with it and what you ate and how much sleep you are getting. There are many triggers to migraines and a diary could help figure it out.

Probable migraine: A migraine can do this. Pulsing on one side, over, and over- that is normally a migraine. If you are also nauseated or sensitive to light, that's really suspicious. If this has been going on for weeks, then it is almost certain to be a migraine. There are many treatments. Some are medicines, some are not. Which ones to use depends on how often this happens.

Migraine headaches: Migraines are vascular type headaches characterized by localized throbbing , often associated with nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. Some people have an 'aura' which warns of onset (such as visual disturbance, dizziness, strange skin sensations, etc.). These are painful experiences and tend to be recurrent, but are manageable my lifestyle modification and medications.
