During us exam, can a radiologist see if a breast cyst countains blood? how can i know if my breast cyst countains blood! thanks

Yes : An ultrasound can show whether the cyst has blood vessels feeding it. That's what matters, not whether it contains blood. So yes, a breast ultrasound shows many characteristics of the cyst: size, shape, whether it has solid parts, blood flow, how easy it is to compress, etc. This all helps the radiologist know if it's suspicious for cancer and a biopsy is needed.

Aspiration: Us does not determine type of fluid. Only aspiration with a needle can determine that.

Breast cyst: The radiologist may see "complex" fluid within the cyst that could be blood, but could also be other things. Can only tell for sure if the cyst is aspirated with a needle, or possibly by MRI signal characteristics.
