You need a diagnosis: Diffuse bowel wall thickening in the rectosigmoid can be caused by diverticulosis, which is benign. It can be caused by inflammation (colitis) or ischemia, which is more serious. It can also be caused by cancer. You need to have this followed up to obtain a diagnosis.
