Is there a branch in psychiatry which provides counselling to rapists.i as an indian can't digest why people here are behaving like this to tourists?

There are some: Psychiatrists, psychologists ; therapists who specialize in working with people who are sex offenders. Rape is a crime - it is not excusable.

Rape counselors: There are counselors, commonly not psychiatrists, that can assist with this counseling both the rapists and the victims. As an Indian, we in the USA read of horrendously traumatic rapes in India, with severe trauma, usually gang rapes and sometimes gruesome deaths. Rape seems to be a common activity in most societies with varying degrees of tolerance.
