If you do not see significant wrist deformity and you can move the wrist with some tolerable pain you have a wrist sprain. Just apply ice pack every 4-6 hours, restrict wrist activity, raise wrist above heart level at rest, take tylenol or advil, prn. for pain for a couple days. If there is significant deformity and/or your wrist' s range of motion is severely limited, you should go to urgent care
