Normal: It is normal to not have periods are mirena (levonorgestrel). That is one of its main benefits. The Progesterone prevents the formation of blood so there is none or only a minimal amount to pass. The egg is simply reabsorbed. Remember a cell is 1 cell. If you scratch your skin you will have several hundred thousand cells under your nail. An egg is very very small.
