Pleuritis: Inflammation of the lining of your lung, or inflammation itself in the lung may cause this type of pain. See your health care provider to assure you do not have a bacterial infection causing your symptoms/inflammation, with coughing, so that if medications are needed, etc, you can start them and start to get better sooner.
