A member asked:

What does it mean when they say in between a cancer and not when they saw the pathological result for the ovarian cyst? is it more likely for cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Borderline: You're talking about a "borderline malignant" diagnosis, correct? This is common in the ovary. You already know that malignant tumors may be very aggressive or fairly docile, though all are dangerous. The ovarian borderline lesions are slow-growers and slow-spreaders but need to be treated definitively if at all possible like any other cancer.
