Cavities: A cavity is a cavitation, a hole in the tooth. It is caused by bacteria taking sugars out of the foods that you eat and converting the sugars into acids. The acids etch calcium out of the enamel of the tooth, allowing bacteria to penetrate into the tooth. Best thing, prevention. Second best, treat it when it's small. Please see your Dentist for an examination.
