My big toes have been numb for 4 months, i've had mri's done of my back and brain since my mom has ms. but they can't find anything, what could it be?

Peripheral nerves: Based on your description, would favor assessing status of your peripheral nerves in feet and legs, as sounds like you have slowly developed a peripheral neuropathy. This does not at all seem like pinched nerve in back or ms. Start with EMG testing, and you may benefit from small fibre skin punch biopsy approach.
