A sign of distress: The babys heart rate is slowing ( called a deceleration) is a sign that the baby is in distress . Most often fliuds and changing your wifes body postion will help. But if it still occurs then a c-section is needed. Most often a cord wrapeed around the babys neck but many other causes. Wont know till they get in and see.
