Scoliosis: Curvature of spine or scoliosis is when spine curves toward a side and levocurvature is with convexity towards left side. Apex is the mid point of the curvature. Curve severity depends on measurement in degees with greater number of degrees more severe.

Scoliosis: It means you have a curvature of the spine centered at the L4 vertebrae, convex towards the left. The magnitude of the curvature is expressed in degrees and the extent of spinal involvement is delineated by finding the inflection points where the curve starts to reverse.

Leftward curvature: The term levocurvature of the lumbar spine means "leftward deviation" of the lumbar spine. The curvature is greatest ("apex") at l4. Dextrocurvature or dextroscoliosis would refer to a "rightward deviation" of the spine.
