Pain medication: Most likely a recent extraction. Symptons due to surgery and swelling. Take your meds, use ice, jaw stetching exercises. Shoud improve soon.

Very common: Rinse your mouth with warm salt water 3-4 times a day to reduce swelling and relieve pain for a week or so.
