Quite common: IgA deficiency is the most common immunoglobulin deficiency. Some people have it but don't have recurrent infections. Others may have recurrent sinus or ear infections. There is no way to "give back" IgA. Treatment is antibiotics to treat the infection and be up to date on vaccines to prevent infections. Other disorders can be seen with IgA deficiency that your doctor can evaluate for.
