A member asked:

Do you have any information on " renal gland " of the kidney?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Adrenal gland: You have no "renal gland", you have adrenal glands (a) that are located on top of the kidneys. The outer part of the a gland is called the cortex and produces steroid hormones such as cortisol, aldosterone, and testosterone. The inner part of it is called the medulla and produces Epinephrine and norepinephrine. When the a's produce more or less hormones than your body needs, you can become sick.
