Maybe a gentle fleet: Fleet enema is probably the quickest way to get things out/relief. Magnesium citrate can push things out in a few hours..Mom may do the job in 12-24 hours. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) powder can also be helpful, often in 24 hours or so... Daily fibers, increase fluid and roughage (salad/fresh fruits/veggies) can help you be more regular. If not helpful, consult doc. Good luck.

Depends.: Depends on your symptoms. Are you nauseated? Vomiting? On pain medications? Ever had this before? Any abdominal pain? If no to these questions, make sure you stay hydrated and start with a stool softener (colace) - avoid laxatives. If you're on pain medications, you should be on a stool regimen already. Do you have a primary care doctor? Good luck.
