Could i just cover my dominant eye with a bandage and wear glasses to force my left dominant eye to focus?

Yes but why: The body prefers to function with one eye being dominant and it appears that for you it is the right eye. Switching dominance takes up to a year of steady covering of the presently dominant eye. If you succeed what have you gained? There is no way to have double dominance - your brain will always pick one eye.
