Canker Sores: It sounds as if you are describing "canker sores". These sores can be very painful, and can migrate around the mouth, aggravating the discomfort. Over-the-counter medications can give palliative relief, such a orajel, anbesol, kankaid, etc. That are in the dental care section of your pharmacy. Avoid acidic foods and keep your mouth as clean as possible until they heal.
