Infant hearing: An infant may have a hearing deficit due to a number of conditions. These include abnormal development of the ear drum or canal, abnormal brain development and nervous system, infections such as meningitis. In most states a hearing test is conducted prior to discharge of an infant after birth. Prmg (peds md) can review records at 858 259 9689, at no personal cost only billed to insurance w/card.
