A member asked:

Dead protective liner of the intestines, what is this?

Can you clarify?: Don't accept this as a diagnosis. Probably there is necrosis of some layer of the bowel. For the sake of your long-term continuity of care, get the real diagnosis rather than something dumbed down. "necrotizing enteritis" perhaps, or "transmural infarct".
