Hard to predict: This is not a sudden or scary process like a bee sting reaction anaphylaxis. The intensity of injury and response also differs between individuals. Those with good long term control & stable/ repaired tissue may have little or no immediate effect of a minor exposure. A heavier exposure will likely trigger intestinal irritation, cramps, bloating and diarrhea over a period of days on an average pt.
