Yes!: If you are not avoiding gluten you are taking a high degree of risk for fracture. Vazquez et al (1999) reported a 25% risk of fractures in a study of patients with celiac disease.

Osteoporosis is : Associated with celiac disease. Persons with osteoporosis have a higher incidence of certain types of fractures. If a disease is well controlled such as celiac disease by not eating gluten then id typically expect the associated issues to be less. If osteoporosis is ess than the incidence of those certain tyoes of fracture will be less.
