A member asked:

Can a greenfield filter prevent or complicate an angiogram?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: For a left heart catherization or angiogram to look at the heart arteries, no. But for a right heart catherization to measure pressures in the heart, yes. However doctors can usually use a different approach to do the procedure (that is go in through a vein in the neck or under the clavicle).
