Imaging study: An angiogram is an imaging study using contrast or dye to visualize a blood vessel, either artery or vein. This can be by direct injection, or indirect as in a ct angiogram or magnetic resonance angiogram (cta or mra). While this can show a blockage, it will not prevent a heart attack.
