A member asked:

Could cone cells migrate in the retina?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Cones are the receptors which are involved in fine detail and colored vision. They are fixed in place and in fact that fixation is why vision can be so precise. Migration would affect this profoundly and so the body does not allow this either functionally or mechanically.
