A member asked:

Could children with retinoblastoma still see?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Frequently: It depends upon when the tumor is detected. The earlier, the more useful retina is present and treatment is less invasive and destructive early in the course. Many with retinoblastoma now have normal vision and of course many only have the tumor in one eye so the other is totally normal.
