Hi doctors, was just wondering what is a normal blood lead level in children?

For what year ??: The accepted level for a blood level has changed over the years.Back when we had leaded gas and had eliminated the lead from house paint, many used 10 mcg , the level was dropped to 7 a decade or so ago and some authorities now suggest 5. It's a bit random and as a screening tool is not very different from prior levels.It does tend to stir up extra worry.
