does every anti-depressents treat chronic pain?

No: The only anti depressant that is fda approved as an adjunct for treating chronic pain, especially from arthritis, is cy, balta. Many other anti depressants may help with chronic pain as the pain itself can cause mild depression because of the pain itself.
