A member asked:

Can a vision correction surgery affects us later in r life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Variable: Vision correction with lasik provides a quick improvement in the basic focusing power of the eyes. For most this is stable but some undergo 'regression' in which some of the improved power is lost. Lasik has no impact on the hardening of the lens which causes presbyopia after age 40, so this will occur.
