I think you should: ...do your research and maintain a healthy degree of skepticism for any test/treatment/"miracle product" that has not undergone rigorous studies and is not considered standard-of-care by medical professionals and/or the FDA.

Probably: Medicine is highly regulated and therapies, tests etc must be shown to work or they are NOT approved. Why would you buy from a store that is outside of this tight regulation ... you're asking for trouble.
