Persistent headache: There are many causes and types of headaches. Medication side effects (or dependency), excess caffeine (or withdrawal), chronically insufficient sleep, chronic tension, migraine and equivalents, ...Infections and tumors among others. Since when?: Most chronic headaches of this type are benign (examples of tension type headaches, ). Recent onset headaches, or progressive pain, starting after the age of 50 have to be taken seriously. Se your neurologist to be sure!
