Primary teeth: Deciduous (primary teeth) are all gone when there are none left in your mouth. This usually occurs when you are in your early to mid teens. In some instances, people can over-retain a primary tooth into their adulthood.

Usually 12-14 yrs: Most teenagers lose their last deciduous teeth (second primary molars) between 12-14 years old. If a person is congenitally missing the replacement permanent tooth then they may retain the baby tooth until they are in their 20's and possibly even into their 40's.

Baby tooth loss: Usually completed by early teens. If overretained can mean underlying permanen5tooth missing or delayed. As baby teeth and permanent teeth are sized & shaped differently, can cause occlusal mismatch. For advice(usually free) see a Specialist Orthodontist.
