Dr. James Lin answered

A direct look into..: Urologist uses a telescope to take a look through the urethra into the bladder so to assess if there is any suspicion for inflammation, stone, foreign body, ; new growth (tumor) inside the bladder, as well, if blockage / stricture inside the urethra. It's usually done after imaging study of kidney/ureter if done for hematuria, and highly tolerable under local anesthesia. Detail? Ask doc timely.
